Summer-time fun and adventures...
To say the Howard family is spontaneous would hardly fit our true character. Perhaps the one we would like to be if we created ourselves. But regardless, our summer has been full of fun adventures (some planned, some not). Kicking off the summer adventures was a fun filled week in the Keys where our son grew fearless in the water and began to truly swim! Brandt has turned into one fascinating child and we delight in his personality as he delights in everything around him. I love to see how his genetic make up reminds us of ourselves or our beloved ancestors. The Lord certainly broke the mold when creating this precious little boy! The curls come from Grandmother Nancy (and maybe my great-grandfather), the hair color from his "Mimi" (that's me), strong willed personality is from the Cook family and his cautious spirit is from both parents. His laughter, humor and noises all come from DaDa and Granddaddy Marshall...and his talkative nature certainly comes from Pop Pop John. He's such a culmination of our entire family! He's spirited but shy, finds humor in the most unusual things, loves dogs, people, his cars and making noises... his favorite color is Yellow and will argue you to death that yellow is the only color anything can be! He's the first to run through the house into Dada's arms and give the best hugs and kisses a boy could. We are so thankful to the Lord for our darling little man and could not be happier with the blessing of being his parents!
