Brandt is now talking up a storm... in the car, after eating, while playing with toys... it's all the time. We have little conversations! I have a feeling he is taking after his 'Poppy John' which we are very excited about! We love you Poppy!

Happy Easter

He has Risen... He has risen indeed!!!

We had a delightful Easter celebration at church and then at the Howard's followed by dessert at the Brandt's... quite a busy day, but fun to have such wonderful family. Quite a different Easter than last year when baby was just being formed. Well, he's here now along with another cousin - fun memories are being made! Baby Brandt got a really great Easter basket from the Easter Bunny - including sunglasses and a great hat - perfect for the FL kid.

The sunset at the Brandt's was a perfect way to end the day - have I mentioned how much I love Florida!?

Jonah the Turtle

"Jonah" the turtle was found in the belly of a blue runner. For those of you who aren't avid fishermen living in S. Fl, this is a fish. Jonah was a day old when fishermen caught the blue runners and one of them literally threw up Jonah (hence the name). He's been taken care of for the past three years at Loggerhead, however the state has requested that Jonah be released back into the wild (the place he never lived). So, they decided to throw Jonah a going away party and it was a hit.

Our nephew has finally arrived. Cari is doing wonderful and baby is getting cuter by the minute. He has a head full of blonde hair and looks just like his big brother Benjamin. Josh is one very proud father!

While watching the American Idol results last night I turned to my husband and asked, "If I were on American Idol, would you vote for me?"
He then, in response to my question posed another one... "well, what are the requirements?"
"To be a great singer." (I knew what was coming ....).

"NO" he said.

You know you're a bad singer when even your husband wouldn't vote for you on American Idol. :)

Brandt was able to meet so many relatives in Jax this past weekend. Even his Great-Grandmother (Nana) was able to greet him for the first time. It was such fun to see everyone again (and for the first time for some of us). We had lunch with 'Auntie Mandy' who loves her little man so much. Brandt thought she was a funny gal - and of course, she is ;) We miss everyone!
