My best-friend, Carrie, and I had a fabulous reunion in her great state of Iowa. She and her husband just finished building their lovely home just outside of W. Des Moines. We shopped, talked, ate, talked, ate and shopped some more. There was a lot of farm land to soak in and catching-up to do. We did both quite well. Our reunion next year will be even more fun (if that is even possible). Although we wished we lived down the street from one another, we are grateful for cell phones and the ability to talk daily for over 11 years now. Go technology! Miss you Carrie!!!!

This is Jacob posing with one of many many deer heads. Curt is quite the hunter. He even took me mushroom hunting where we picked bags of Morell (sp?) Mushrooms. Quite the Iowian delicacy. The one who really loved them was my 2 yr old nephew, Benjamin, who ate most of them when I got home.
