It's a BOY!

Boys are hard to come by, especially in the Brandt family... but the scales are balancing out now as yet another BOY is being added to the family. We found out this week that our baby is 100% boy - which I can tell alone from all the movement. I'm 17 weeks along and really looking forward to the fun of decorating a nursery and all the 'gender specific' things we get to buy! We are THRILLED that the Lord has blessed us with a child and we and couldn't be happier!
As for baby boy names, we have to save something as a surprise at his birth... guess you'll have to wait and see! Guess selling everything, living on a sailboat and crusing the islands is out of the picture now... and we even learned how to sail! :) This will probably be even more of an adventure!

Sad goodbyes...

This week we had to say goodbye to Lisa S. We will miss her terribly at work, but she will return to visit soon with a Tennessee accent! Good Luck Lisa!!!!

Junior/Senior Prom

If things didn't go as well as planned for your high school social life, you can have my job and do it all over again. Let me tell you though - the music has definately changed :) Apparently even the attire is back to the 80's... or they just look dumb and dumber!

A Growing Belly...

At one of our graduation events, a man approached me cauiously and said that he noticed I was wearing a 'different style of dress'. I smiled and said, "it's ok, I am pregnant!" After a sigh of relief he said he made that mistake once before and really didn't want to make it again! I thought it was a lovely way of 'asking' without really 'asking'.

FL kid on the way!

At 13 weeks and 5 days, our baby is preparing for Florida life. Laid back ready for a hammock on the beach! We are so excited and don't have a clue as to what's in store! Actually, the doctor said I am probably a week ahead of schedule, which means just after Thanksgiving... Vanessa is praying for the 27th - yes, her birthday. Vanessa, do you realize what your age difference will be? ;)
