Brandt's personality is more evident than ever now. He has a great sense of humor and laughs at everything (I wonder what goes on in his brain). Even his older cousin was in amazement at how much he talks and laughs... BRH will be giving BB a run for his money very soon!

Brandt has learned how to feed himself... cleaning up is Mommy's job!

Sitting up

Brandt has finally begun to sit up... atleast for longer periods of time. Of course, he still needs to perfect this skill, but not bad so far. There's the usual tipping over and the occassional face plant, but never a tear and he keeps right on going. Actually, what he does is reach for a toy or book and then falls in that direction... the 'bump' never seems to keep him from doing it again. He's one determined kiddo.

Happy Birthday!

Yes, I had another birthday - it's great to be 29! I again, took these picts off Cari's website... we had a great celebration the night before my big day in our family's backyard. The next day we took a trip to the Loggerhead Rescue Center - just the three of us - and then my wonderful hubby made a picnic for me on the beach that evening. Like I said, it's great to be 29! The boys (cousins) also got together for some swimming. They are all quite hilarious boys!!!

We had a visit from Patrick who got to meet Brandt for the first time. Brandt LOVED him and can't wait to meet up with his whole family in NYC one day (he'll LOVE Jacquelin, Faulkner and Emily). Grandaddy Marshall celebrated his birthday - HAPPY BIRTHDAY Pops. Brandt also got to head out in the boat with Poppy John... he loved every minute of it.

Happy Mother's Day

We had a wonderful (first) Mother's Day spent in Clewiston with the Brandt/Vincent/Padgett families... Our usual venture to see Lake Okeechobee proved to be exciting. The 'islands' around the inside of the lake were all on fire. It was sad to see the beautiful trees and brush burn, but we were thankful it was inside the lake.
