I have PROOF that sign language really does work when you teach it to infants. Yesterday Brandt displayed the sign for 'more' at breakfast when all of his blueberries were gone! It's so fun to see how his brain just one day figured it all out! These pictures were taken at dinner when he ran out of his bread. I always called him my little communicator... now he just looks at me and does sign language instead of pounding his fists on his tray. ahhhhh much better!

Our little man is growing up up up! Today we had his 9mo drs appt and he is one healthy kid. I think our dr fell in love w/ him (how can you not!). Okay, for those of you who care (and those who could care less), here are his latest stats:
weight: 60% 20lbs 2oz
height: 75% 29"
cuteness: 150% - the mold was broken when he was made :)

Right now he's pulling a surf quilt behind him as he's cruising through the living room. He gets mad because it's not going the way he wants it to. There are a lot of manly grunts going on :)

Here comes trouble...

Yes, I'm posting a photo of my new pair of shoes. This post is for my friend Carrie who lives in the bitter cold of Iowa.... 1) I've told her about these shoes and needed her to see a picture and 2) because she can't wear these year round like we can and I wanted to make her jealous ;) yes, I'm a meanie! Here's to you Carrie!!!!! Come visit us soon and you can wear flip flops again very soon! We miss you!!!!!
